This year Perkins is competing in the 100, 200 and high jump. She says: “the best part about track is being able to hang outwith the people. Everyone just gets along really well and make the environment fun to be apart of.” Perkins along with thousand of other athletes season was canceled last year so she was unable to compete. She says that she is ready for this coming season.
Throughout her years of playing volleyball Ally says that she has learned “what hard work can get you and that the friendships you make are way more important than any title.” Ally has made some of her best fiends through playing volleyball and she would not change it for anything. Since she has ran track she has learned that ” it is okay to just do something for fun”. Running is not for everyone but it is something that Ally says she enjoys. Perkins also says that in track ” some of your best friends might be people you didn’t expect”.
