Sheridan Football—Going Online

Sheridan High School’s senior football players.

Due to the Corona Virus many fans, including students, will not be allowed to attend sports events this fall, unless they are directly related– or considered very close– to the player. Due to this very unfortunate set of circumstances, the Sheridan football program has decided to live-stream all of their games; fans are able to watch their favorite high school team online. The sports participating in this free live stream are as follows: Football, Volleyball, and Boys and Girls Soccer.

Although, this isn’t an ideal situation, and watching the game at home is no where near as fun as sitting in the stands, this is Sheridan’s way of keeping athletes and their families safe during this confusing time. Several other schools in the state–including many from the MVL (Muskingum Valley League) alone–are live streaming their games for the sake of safety for their players and parents.

This weeks Varsity football game against New Lexington will be broadcast on the Z92 radio station; there will also be a link shared on the Sheridan Generals Athletics Facebook page tonight. The link will be active right before the game starts. All fans have to do is click the link before the game starts, create a profile, and watch Sheridan play for FREE.

In addition to football, his process will be used for the following sports: volleyball, boys and girls soccer. Each player is permitted two tickets to games while coaches are permitted one. Parents and coaches are to buy these tickets the week of the set game. Tickets will NOT be sold at the gate.

Click here for the Facebook page of the Sheridan Generals Athletics and enjoy the live streaming service and catch your favorite players and plays as they happen in real time.  Remember that the link will be uploaded and active close to the start time of each game. Go Generals!
